Developed for and in collaboration with 3Museos
In this 3D exploration platformer, you play as an Aztec boy or girl trying to collect tributes for the Aztec gods. Using some of their powers you will be able to reach the furthest parts of our extensive level. Hopefully the players will learn more about the gods through submersive learning.
Contribution: I designed big parts of the final level design and play tested it for QA, I implemented player feedback in the form of VFX to help guide the player, I worked on the art bible and GDD, I was responsible for client communication.
What I learned: Focus when prototyping is important, frontloading work is always good practice, player feedback is key, scope and planning are essential to making a game polished.
A very good learning experience for working on a full project, getting to know the pipeline and other facets of game production while having a bit of a manager role.
